Michigan native, Dr. David Baird, is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in diagnosing and treating disorders of the skin. He received his medical degree from Wayne State University of Medicine in Detroit, and then went on to complete his internship at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. His dermatology residency was completed at Henry Ford Hospital, where he served as chief resident before going on to obtain his board certification by the American Board of Dermatology.
Dr. Baird actively participates in the maintenance of certification program to keep him up to date on the latest treatments and technology. He is also an active member of many professional societies, including the American Academy of Dermatology, the Michigan Dermatological Society, the Michigan State Medical Society, and the Oakland County Medical Society.
Dr. Baird currently holds hospital staff privileges at Providence Hospital and Detroit Medical Center.
Community Service and Hobbies
Dr. Baird is an active community service member within not only the specific Farmington community but also the larger community of Detroit and Southeast Michigan. He is an active supporter of community activities and high school athletics.
In his free time, Dr. Baird enjoys activities that emphasize physical fitness. These include exercising at the gym and running road races.
